Jordan Brand loves to incorporate different ideas into their sneakers and as sneakerheads we really do not mind if it is tastefully done. Imagine combining recycled space materials and Zoom technology into a Jordan 1 Retro, how would that even look and perform? Jordan Brand combined the two into the Air Jordan 1 Zoom Crater, the Jordan Brand version of Nike’s MOVE TO ZERO initiative which is Nike’s mission forward to provide zero carbon and zero waste through the use of recycled materials and use of recycled sneakers made into Nike grind material. The upper of the Jordan 1 Zoom Crater is made from recycled materials to give the Jordan 1 Crater a black textured look that dominates the upper with a black felt-like Swoosh on the medial and lateral side. Crimson-red stitching wraps the heel of the shoe providing a small accent to the all-black textured upper. The tongue is also a textured recycled black material with black laces, the top of the tongue features a Zoom branding tag with crimson red stitching to match the stitching on the heel of the sneaker. The speckled midsole is perfect in connecting the outsole made out of Nike Grind with the black textured upper made out of a combination of recycled materials. The sole of the sneaker features full-length Zoom technology.
