This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the shoe Michael Jordan won his second championship in, so you know Jordan Brand had to release something special, the Air Jordan 7 Retro SAPPHIRE definitely fits the bill. Armed with a two-tone tan nubuck leather upper with mesh white semi-translucent panels, this retro 7 uses a wide range of materials and colors. The white semi-transparent panels on both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe offers excellent breathability while also showing the Sapphire blue and pink neoprene bootie on the inside of the sneaker. The tongue of the neoprene bootie features perforations offering another level of breathability with AIR JORDAN tpu lettering at the top of the tongue. The inside of the sneaker features pink lining inside the neoprene bootie and a pink sockliner with Nike branding on the heel. A grey speckled midsole sits above a smoke grey semi-translucent outsole. The back features 23 branding and a pull tab specific to the retro 7 model.
